Showing-off between civilized societies and the competition amongst their people is no longer based on the resources and equipment at their disposal, but rather on how well-equipped they are with educated minds and open hearts that view science as a tool for innovation and creativity. Hence, it is the responsibility of the faculties of education to cultivate these minds and hearts, which are crucial in generating a generation that is conscious, connected to its religion, nation, and cause, and that upholds the true traditions of the Arab people.
Al-Aqsa University's Faculty of Education is at the vanguard of these faculties since it houses the Department of Educational Supervision, which serves as a channel between academic institutions and the real world and between theoretical courses and practical performance skills.
The Department of Educational Supervision plays the greatest role in facilitating the task of training students of the Faculty of Education in the schools of the Ministry of Education and the schools of the International Relief Agency. In addition, it organizes a number of educational seminars to provide our students with what they should do.
The Department of Educational Supervision also aims to strengthen the practical aspects of student teachers by offering explanatory lessons for teachers and giving chance for student teachers to comment on and benefit from them. Prior to all of this, the supervision division consistently works through publications and bulletins to encourage students to serve as local ambassadors for a historic university.
Lastly, I assert that, regardless of how challenging the task or how many duties are involved, success can be achieved via positive cooperation and teamwork.
