The Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods of The Faculty of Education at Al-Aqsa University is one of the oldest and largest departments there, and it is distinguished by having a distinct vision, mission, and objectives that are in line with those of the Faculty as a whole.

Providing programs of high-quality to prepare teachers, educational and academic experts, and provide them with the latest trends, knowledge, and academic and research skills in an educationally and technologically advanced educational environment, in order to produce scientific knowledge and educational practices related to curricula and teaching strategies.
Objectives
1-Enhance students' understanding of the theories and processes underlying curricula, as well as the ways in which they are planned, constructed, evaluated, and improved.
2-Develop students' abilities in regard to the international standards of the teaching profession and how they are applied to enhance students' cognitive and skill achievement and favorably influence their behavior.
3-Improve student's abilities to employ various forms of contemporary technology in teaching.
4-Develop the teaching staff and give them both theoretical and practical training in teaching strategies and the use of technology in education.
5-Prepare research academic professionals capable of coming up with creative solutions to educational issues while keeping up to date with contemporary trends.
6-Establish community partnerships with all local educational organizations and institutions, and offer the relevant authorities specialized educational and research consultations in the areas of curricula and educational technology.
7-Develop the student teacher's authentic Islamic and national principles and assist him in serving his faith and nation.
