The Faculty of Education at Al-Aqsa University seeks to produce teachers with a base of information, a range of general and specialized abilities, and a set of ideal principles and attitudes so that they can teach their students and support their normal and inclusive growth in order to have them ready to take part in creating a Palestinian society that is independent, democratic, just, and pluralistic while preserving Arab, Islamic, and human culture. The Faculty of Education at Al-Aqsa University works to give student teachers a cultural framework that enables them to interact positively with their community, a framework for specialized knowledge that enables them to comprehend a field of knowledge in depth, as well as a framework for education that enables them to teach their subject in a variety of modern ways.
In the context of the teacher preparation process, the Faculty of Education aims to offer advanced educational services through providing qualitative courses and a range of activities, whether through teaching various courses and providing technological services to assist in teaching these courses, or through the various activities held by the faculty in cooperation with the departments, faculties of education in Palestinian universities, and civil society institutions. This is in order to provide an interactive university environment that respects the student teacher, engages him in the learning process, aids in his understanding and application of what he learns, helps him develop a variety of life skills, enables him to think logically, helps him develop the skills to apply what he learned in his professional life, and helps him continue his professional development while working.
The faculty also aims to help teachers cultivate the skills they need to work collaboratively and improve their communication talents in order to create teachers who can compete on a national, regional, and international scale.
