The Deanship of Planning and Development and Quality Assurance, in cooperation with the Academic Affairs at AQU organized a workshop entitled "The experience of Al-Aqsa University in E-Learning During the Coronavirus Pandemic - Reality and Expectations". The workshop aimed at assessing the current experience of AQU in e-learning in order to develop and improve the e-learning system and conclude with recommendations to be submitted to the e-learning committee.
For his part, Dr. Basem Ayesh, Assistant of Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Chairman of the e-learning committee, presented AQU experience of e-learning since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, he stated that AQU responded rapidly to this sudden shift from the face to face learning to e-learning. Accordingly, the university has adapted and evolved its digital tools and platforms and activated the e-learning system to ensure uninterrupted educational delivery to its students.
It is noteworthy that AQU has a rich history in designing and delivering online learning courses having been one of the early adapters to online education. The current experience coupled with the expertise of ICT and online learning who are on the front-lines of e-learning. They assisted the university educators in navigating the various aspects of Moodle System to ensure best practices and effective teaching for today and the future.
