Al-Aqsa University is Proud to Place the First Position Among universities in the Gaza Strip in the field of Scientific Research
Al-Aqsa University won the first place among universities of the Gaza Strip and the second place at the level of the Palestinian universities in the field of scientific research in the competition of "University Student as a Researcher" announced by the General Management for Development and Scientific Research at the Palestinian Ministry of Education.
The President of the University Dr. Kamal Elsharafi, greeted the students Eman Wishah, and Mai Safi on their winning research entitled "Consolidating the National Identity in the Palestinian Curriculum Books Developed for the Basic Minimum Stage", and expressed his happiness with this honorable prize. He praised the efforts of supervisors, ensuring that the AQU is always at the top, where it seeks to overcome all obstacles to make progress, wishing more excellence, leadership, and creativity.
For his part, Vice-President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Mohammed Salman praised the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education for their support for scientific research at the Palestinian universities, as this support not only included academic researchers but also students’ researches in the bachelor and master levels.
In turn, the head of the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Dr. Mahmoud El Ostaz stressed the need to consolidate the Palestinian identity in the curricula of the primary stage on the principle that children learn easier at a young age, pointing to the University's keenness to support excellence in all fields.
