The Department of Chemistry of The Faculty of Applied Sciences at Al-Aqsa University is one of the oldest departments there, and it is distinguished by having a distinct vision, mission, and objectives that are in line with those of the Faculty as a whole.

Mission
Preparing competent scientific cadres to satisfy the demands of the labor market , actively contribute to the graduation of a generation of scientists and researchers , as well as to the resolution of all the scientific and industrial issues facing development plans ,and provide technical services and scientific guidance to the public and private sectors.
Objectives
1-Prepare chemistry specialized graduates with a distinguished academic level in order to meet the labor market's demand for experts in various fields.
2-Design chemistry study plans and programs that adhere to international standards.
3-Strengthening the mutually beneficial communal collaboration.
4-Setting up an analytical unit for food, medication, and water to help solve community concerns.
5-Motivate students to engage in scientific and creative research and to focus on the practical aspect.
