Al-Aqsa University is committed to maintaining its buildings University in compliance with its Green Building Standards, and continuing to incorporate sustainability goals into campus planning. The university Green Building Standards dictate a broad set of requirements for pursuing energy sustainability water saving, solid waste reduction, operation and maintenance efficiency, lighting quality, ventilation, indoor heating and environmental impact reduction, and focusing on the use of water and energy saving technologies. Our Green Building Standards include process-oriented requirements to ensure that all sustainable design and operations opportunities are vetted and that performance requirements are achieved in a cost-effective manner. It also encourages students, faculty, and staff to continue piloting sustainability solutions throughout the University plan in teaching and researches
