The Deanship of Planning, Development, and Quality Assurance was created with the goals of playing a role in the academic development process, improving the skills and abilities of academic staff members, finding precise measurement tools to reveal strengths and assist in enhancing and developing them, as well as weaknesses and shortcomings and working to address and improve them, and using electronic and contemporary technological means to facilitate that task.
This is motivated by Al-Aqsa University's desire to achieve its strategic vision, which aims to lead and succeed in teaching, learning, research, and community service to create a knowledge - based society. It also reflects the university's desire to improve its outputs in light of quality standards moving towards creativity and superiority in higher education. it also boosts the capabilities and competencies of the administrative staff members, promotes their positive capabilities, and develops performance shortcomings according to an integrated training program that was designed after identifying the priorities required to improve their competencies.
The deanship also works to provide the university with various statistics and data in each of its components after checking and verifying that information , in addition to preparing proposals for development projects to accelerate obtaining outside funding for it, which will support the university's pursuit to excellence and quality
The deanship also works to improve and enhance the functioning of the university's electronic systems by ensuring quality standards are met.
