This course aims at clarifying the main differences between macro and micro economics by addressing the following topics: The national output and cyclical flow in the economy, the methods of measuring both national product and national income, the difference between national and national output and other concepts, and a presentation to determine the equilibrium level of income in a two-sector economy; a presentation of different consumption theories; then investment theories; Keynes' theory on various macroeconomic issues such as economic growth, inflation and unemployment, then the general equilibrium model, and an introduction to money, banks and international trade as general concepts.
