Principles of Business management 1

This course deals with the origin and development of the management science, and the reasons why it was created. It also defines business administration and how it differs from public administration. New topics are targeted through scholars and pioneers. Very importantly, in the fields of managerial sciences, this also explains all functions of the management such as planning and its types, organizing and its forms, leadership and its theories, and control and its types, it also goes through managerial environment for the organization, it helps to deal with all the surrounded circumstances after having a comprehensive study

This course aims to provide students for a needed background and motivate them to join business administration, through a detailed explanation of the project concept, business companies, and types of companies. In addition to spotlight the functions of the project including, financial function, purchasing and production function, marketing function, human resource function, and management information system, besides to focus on the core of the vocation and provide some practical cases to students 

 Computer Applications for Administrative Sciences

The main aim of this course is to provide students with advanced practical skills of executing various administrative and financial applications by using Microsoft Excel features and techniques, and also by using( statistical, Mathematical, financial, logical) functions of Microsoft Excel . This course will include the following topics : preparing break- even point model, Preparing inventory economic order quantity model, debt payments model, Preparing an investment with periodic constant payments and a constant interest rate model, preparing balance sheet, forecasting of production and finding the regression equation, evaluating the economic projects

Human Resources Management

This courses aims and spotlights on the human element by illustrating the historical background and the factors that lead to focus on human element, the appearance of independent administration to dedicate on human resource since they are considered as one of the key element, it also shows humans abilities to create a specific advantage for the organization, and that happens by creating policies and activities based on human elements , it also examines the role of the human resource professional as a strategic partner in managing today’s organizations. Key functions such as recruitment, selection, development, appraisal, retention, compensation, and labor relations are examined. Implications of legal and global environments are appraised and current issues such as diversity training, and rising benefit costs are analyzed. Best practices of employers of choice are considered

Organizational Behavior

This course provides an overview of topics and concepts in the field of Organizational Behavior, the reason why it is important, and its relationship with other behavioral sciences for the students. It also introduces many behavioral theories that focuses on this topic, analyzing human behavior whether it is individually or as a teamwork. Emphasis is on developing a theoretical grasp of issues and problems and an understanding of practical implications of various theories of human behavior at work. Specific topics include leadership, motivation, teamwork, career issues, work roles, job enrichment, employee participation, and work and non-work integration

 Purchases and Storage Management

This course is designed to cover the main functions of purchases and storage, their importance, their goals, it also organizes their functions and their sales strategies, and to determine the economic order quantity, then it selects an appropriate sales source, determines the process of delivery and examines the sales order. The concept of quality in purchasing shows how to purchase with a required price and amount, it also covers unique topics such as “make or buy” decisions, inventory control, forecasting, and departmental interaction that give this course a richness and relevance

Strategic Management

This course provide an overview of topics and concepts in the field of strategic management concepts .Emphasis on its effect on the development according to intellectual management contemporary frame,  It  assumes a broad view of the environment that includes buyers, suppliers, competitors, technology, the economy,  capital markets, government, and global forces and  views the external environment as dynamic and characterized by uncertainty, with a focus on practical cases and learn the students how to make a strategic plan

Contemporary Issues in Management

This course studies and revises the concepts, strategies, and policies of management, this also includes how to define and apply it in the field of purchasing, production, marketing, finance

Emphasis on  topics such as "crisis management, strategic management, change management, non stable management, planning. In addition to increase the students with needed skills to analyze local and global managerial situations and that is by identifying on successful companies and countries

Economic Feasibility Studies

This course aims to identify the feasibility of constructing a proposed investment project before achieving it practically, through preparing special studies in evaluating the feasibility of the investment projects. A feasibility study is needed before starting a new project, developing a new product or service, establishing a new business, or upgrading and modifying existing businesses. The feasibility study is needed to analyze and evaluate of a proposed project to determine if it is technically feasible, if it is feasible within the estimated cost, and if it will be profitable or not

Managerial Accounting

This course focuses on modern quantitative methods in the field of performing reports that is related to support management functions, starting from planning until control and performance assessment which includes all modern assessment that appears in the field of accounting of costs. It also includes some topics such as : Analyzing the relationship between cost, size and profit(CVP), decision making, planning budgets, accountability , Prices of moving ,and distributing costs based on A.B.C. utilize the information, and managerial control under decentralization accounting and others

Production Operations Management

This course provides an overview of topics and concepts in the field of production operation management and spotlight on production activity, it helps the student to understand the theory by which production operations management rely on.

This course examines the functional area of production and operations management in the manufacturing industry. Topics include, selecting the project location, internal order, decision-making, capacity planning, aggregate planning, forecasting, inventory management, distribution planning, materials requirements planning (MRP), project management, quality control, running operations tabling, and studying some practical operations in this field

Management of Projects and Microenterprise

This course aims to give an introduction or entry for project management, identification for project, its life cycle, selecting projects and the methods of planning, organizing, evaluating, project tabling , distributing materials, following up the project, determining the challenges and difficulties that face this project. This is to explain the characteristics of project manager and his responsibilities, determine the strategies needed to reach our goals, set up project budget and detailed studies on small projects

International Business Administration

This course provides an overview of topics and concepts in the field of international business administration , its nature and fields, kinds of international business administration and investments, feasibility of foreign investments, kind of tactics and monophony in international business, international administration environment, ways of targeting international markets and how risky it is when working there, multinational companies, international marketing, international commerce, international financial systems, and ways of negotiations and international operation

Business Studies
This course aims to develop knowledge, understanding, skills and values which enable students to make judgments about the performance of businesses in a dynamic business environment

As a course, Business Studies is distinctive in that it encompasses the theoretical and practical aspects of business in contexts which students will encounter throughout their lives. Conceptually, it offers learning from the planning of a small business to the management of operations, marketing, finance and human resources in large businesses. Through the analysis of contemporary business strategies the course also provides rigor and depth and lays an excellent foundation for students either in tertiary study or in future employment

 Quality Management and Standards

This course aims to enhance the student with up to date methods and scientific concepts in the field of quality management which is considered as one of the main success factors for the organization locally and internationally. This course also covers historical review for the concept of quality and how it improved, the tools for quality improvement, control and assessment tables, quality costs, the relationship between ISO and quality management, and entries for applying quality management and chains of international criteria

Graduation Project

This course aims to measure the ability of the student on analyzing the administrative and marketing problem. The student is supposed to choose a title by agreement with a supervisor, and then the student performs a research plan and then the study, it also provide the students with the technical skills by using the variant methods for data collection from its major and minor sources. In addition, it aims to enhance the student with analytical skills  based on his/her skills on phrasing the assumptions, study problem, study goals, study sample, study analysis

Internship

This is to exceed the obligatory period of field training in any local organization, either in governmental ,or non-governmental associations

Research Methods in Business Studies

This course is to review the nature of research methods in administrative and economic sciences . It leads the students to learn about qualitative research approaches and philosophy of science as well as develop skills to solve problems in the field of business and for theory building purposes. Students will learn to collect, analyze, document and evaluate qualitative data, such as interviews and observations,

Operations Research

This course aims to enhance the student with sufficient and needed data about the creation of operations research and its characteristics that make it unique. It covers the relationship between the operation research with other sciences, operations research curricula in problem solving and decision making, operations research and its relationship with Palestinian environment, the environment of growing societies, linear programming and the problems it causes  which includes maximization and decreasing problems, chart solving, simplex, reverse model, the matrix of decisions tree, and the four theories for economic and administrative criteria, distribution problems including transport solving, specialization solving problem, networks  and that includes critical path study(CMP), the method of PERT, the theory of waiting lines up. This course reviews some practical and applicable cases in variant topics, and the skills being applied on a specific program on the computer

Costs Accounting

This course aims to introduce the basis of costs accounting. Many topics will be targeted when studying this course such as: identification of the nature and the field of costs accounting and its relationship with administrative accounting, identification on the cycle of costs and materials flowing .In addition to some terminologies used in such a field. Accounting based on materials costs , extra loads based on classification and registrations, the costs theories, costs control, indirect way of costs distribution, this course also deals with production order costs systems , methods of measuring, determining the costs,  and ways of distributing  the costs of services departments  on the production departments

 Financial Management

This course aims to identify the main basic concepts in the field of financial management , and that is by studying the concept of financial management, the role of financial manager in taking financial decisions, 'investment decision, financing  decision , profit distribution decision'. it also identifies the environment and the component of financial field, financial functions, its characteristics , its duties and suitability, it also studies the components of financial management environment , the financing structure , its duties and suitability, the components of financial  administration environment, financing structure for companies, ways of financial planning, financial methods with a study for financial statements

This course focuses on  the study of variant issues related to banks, taking into consideration, adopting  a modern technology at banking work, and this course contains topics such as the strategies of banks, Banks economies, analytical methods , strategic planning , environmental management, banking services marketing, administrative order, administrative operations, and human element

This course shows a detailed knowledge about the techniques  of Islamic Banks operations and its role in serving and developing organizations and so, it serves the economic banks. This course introduces a comprehensive and detailed material in the whole Islamic banking operations, In addition to this, it shows the difference between Islamic banks and traditional banks

This course deals with the concept of electronic commerce, its importance, the reasons of adopting it, the challenges and opportunities that keep up with adopting this idea, infrastructure and needed ideas for executing these ideas and business models, classifying  the processes of electronic commerce, markets sites in E.C , the role of electronic commercial  exchange as a basis in trade world and global markets, the role of E.C in  increasing the rate of sales and profits , pay systems and marketing in E.C, and the ways to secure from electronic crimes, finally legal thoughts about the ethics of work

This course mentions the types of MIS according to its levels and administrative functions, ways for providing safety and security for information system. The increase of computer crimes and ethical violation, there must be a need for stating the interest in Computer Ethics whether it is related to individual, or work.
