A brief note about The Deanship:
The Deanship of Admission and Registration at Al-Aqsa university is considered a center for operations related to students wishing to join the university in coordination with the different departments of the university. As soon as it was established , the university had to establish The Deanship of Admission and Registration to organize and facilitate work for the university and the student. During that period, work in the admission and registration procedures was confined to the traditional manual work which was wearisome and tiring for the employee and for the administration. At that time work was based on teaching the students according to the academic year or semester system. In the year 1996 the university adopted the credited hour in the teaching system in its academic programs. The administration of the university was obliged to change the scope of work from work by the manual system to the computerized system in conformity with the keeping up with and improving the work electronically so as to save time and effort and produce accurate and satisfactory outputs. The university has ever since undertaken to develop the Deanship of Admission and Registration in a way that serves the students whose numbers have been increasing year after year. In addition it has employed highly efficient staff members and opened four branches located in different university buildings to serve the students. The admission and registration program has been supported with an electronic page in order to facilitate matters for students in registration and inquiring about their grades and their continuous interconnection with the Deanship and the university through a special page for every student. Those who handle admission and registration matters endeavor to offer developed and available services and keep up with services provided in local and Arabic universities to facilitate service for the students for the sake of reaching high quality.

• Main center located in the faculty of Applied Sciences ( Al – Harazin)
• New branch built on liberated land in khan younis.
